Day Over Yet???

Today is my last day at work! No not for good, but just an extended long weekend to add to the Monday holiday. So a whole 5 days off work!!! I haven't had time off work in a VERY long time.....so this will do me some good. But the last couple hours are dragging and dragging and dragging.

See Steph, this is what my mom says to me...nothing about tits or vaginas... but she said:
Mom: I really wish you weren't going to St. Louis this weekend.
Me: Why?
Mom: Because of the gas running out and the prices.
Me: Why?
Mom: Because I don't want you to be stranded on the side of the road somewhere without any gas.

That is what MY mom worries about. LoL. Well I'm still going and if I run out of gas due to a gas station "not having any gas", then I'll just sleep in my car until the gas man comes. There are several gas stations here in Indy and surrounding towns that have "ran" out of gas. So I guess it's due to the hype of the gas prices rising to over $3/gal. I was lucky to get $2.62/gal this morning.

So last night Mike M calls and we talk for awhile. I--me--I ask him to do something tonight. His response "well I'm working up in Noblesville tomorrow I don't know what time I will be home..usually around 7/730." Um okay, just tell me yes or no. So I have to call him tonight when I get done after to work to see about tonight. This irritates me.

Well I'm off to sit here in boredom some more. I'll be back Monday!! Everyone have a great holiday weekend.

Hit the road jack!

I swear this is the last post I waste on KJ. How stupid am I we had an IM conversation last night, KJ imed me first let me just say that. I tried to be my nice social fun self, and she didn't buy it and had to bring the whole situation up again, while I wasn't even going to talk about it. You won't believe this shit man, she had the nerve to say this to me, "You have every right to be mad at me and cuss me out, but you have no right whatsoever to attack me personally and lose respect for me over this situation" So basically she wants to dictate how I can be mad? So that was it I said this drama in my life is over, and blocked the bitch WOOT! So, I am taking a MUCH needed break from the dating scene. Maybe I will play matchmaker for awhile instead oh Cara and Mike paging Cara and Mike.

Alright so last night I got to practice and we have to wait for the boys varsity to finish their practice and my good friend Pete coaches the boys varsity, and then in the spring we coach the girls varsity together. Well, last night he told me he can't do it in the spring and the AD is going to be asking me to take over full time! Crazy right? I haven't totally decided if I am going to do it, 85% leaning towards yes, but things can always change. If I take it everyone watch out for the cometmobile, I will be driving the spus baby! Spus = a mini bus as our girls have so cutely nicknamed it that. I am not sure these girls would be ready for me to be the head coach a lot of things will change. So we'll see, i'll keep all of ya updated!

Very scary and sad stuff happening down in Alabama, Louisiana. and Mississippi right now with the hurricane. Some of the images coming in today are just unbelievable, I pray for all those people down there I can't even imagine what that is like. They are without electricity, water, lights, and uhh houses?! Crazy! As a lot of you know my family's house was hit in the tornado of 98, that was pretty scary and intense, we were huddled up in a closet with our dogs. I can't even imagine what this would be like! So, lets keep these people in our thoughts and prayers.

I wanna say thanks to all my blogger buddies on here you guys are awesome! Thanks for all the kind words and advice, for people i've never met I can honestly say you all rock, and Steph if you ever make it to Indiana Nuts and I will take you and buy you all the cherry icee's you can drink! By the way YES I like REO Speedwagon and I am NOT ashamed to admit it :) haha! Hey design goddess how did your first day of school go? Skipping classes ummm shame shame I never missed a single class ever in college (HA HA HA HA!) thank goodness it is just raining and not lightning eh? One more note I believe that my foot injury from last year that had finally healed, I tore a tendon in the heel of my foot, mysteriously transplanted itself into my left foot d'oh! The bad thing is like last year I really can't let it heal, because I can't completely stay off it. I guess it would help if I stopped actually playing matches myself, but that's no fun I love playing tennis, so that won't happen! It took it a whole year to heal last time, lets pray for a quicker recovery this time.

Rain Rain Rain

Well, we're getting the rain from good ole Hurricane Katrina (reminds me of Katina). Rain is in the forecast for the next couple days. I feel terrible for the people in Florida, Louisiana, and now Mississippi who has been through this hurricane. SO therefore, I'm glad I live in the Midwest. Yeah we might get unbearable heat and humidity or a tornado here and there, but a hurricane just does so much more destruction than a tornado.

Not much has been going on. Just maybe some personal stuff I can't talk about on here and hopefully it gets better today. If not, I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.

Tonight Big Brother is on! I'm excited. I was kind of upset it wasn't on Saturday. Saturday I went to the Indianapolis Air Show. It was pretty fun. I got some, well a lot, of sun on my arms and chest. Yesterday at work it was pretty funny seeing people with the same bright red area on their neck/chest from also being at the air show. I don't think I'll go next year...but maybe just the end to see the Blue Angels, because that was the only part worth seeing. Sunday I slept, kid you not, all day. Being out in the sun just wore me out.

So tomorrow is my last day at work for the week. YEAH long weekend for me!! Going to Missouri to visit my family =) Can't wait. I need to get ahold of Mike M to see if he wants to hang out Wednesday night before I leave-since I'll be gone this weekend. I hate when guys are nervous and don't make the first move. I just wish I was more like Steph AKA crazy girl. But I'm shy and passive.

Party, Lost Respect, Rants -n- Ramblings, US Open yes gonna be a long post

Good evening everyone,
So, I went to the party Friday night down in btown, and let me start by saying I have been to more exciting parties when I was in Jr High. I guess that will teach me to party with a bunch of law students. So, a lot of interesting things went on at this party, I saw KJ, and was informed that although we have a "connection" KJ believes that getting back with the ex is something KJ might want. Alright I am about to shit myself, and I am not one to be surprised by much. For starters this is the same KJ that for months ripped this ex to shreds verbally while talking to me, and kept saying "god I can't wait to be out of this relationship" not to mention called them some pretty bad names. I felt like such a sap but don't worry once I got my tongue working to talk I totally gave KJ hell DING! So here is what I said, "If that's truly what you want fine, but don't expect me to be around to pick up the pieces and be your shoulder to cry on when you all go sour again" to which I got this pouty look. She is saying absolutely nothing at this point, so I said "wow I am such a sucker thinking we might date, I think if you truly go back to your ex I will have lost all respect for you completely" and KJ's response, "I don't know what to say" I should have seen this coming from a mile away, KJ told me that from Aug -- April they are always good, her and the ex, and the summer is when they always break up. The last thing I said was, "well enjoy your relationship of convience and expect to not be seeing much, good luck" and I walked away! I am proud of myself and I don't care if I came across as an ass, I felt a little led on. So I am over it.

Alright, on to the lame party, which by the way was nothing but IU law students, that should have tipped me off there. First off I was the LAST one there because I didn't want to be the first so I made sure I was like 30 mins late, and I didn't have my invite with me. They were seriously checking for evites, but good thing it was Mike and he knew me phew right, didn't wanna miss the bash of the century! It's pretty sad that when the highlight of your big back to school bash is some dice game like yahtzee, and I am not putting down Yahztee, but come on these are college kids. There was no music, no dancing, but good food! I knew 5 people at this party, and 1 of them was KJ and well we just saw how that went. Two of them were the cohosts so I didn't see much of them. So, I socialized with a lot of new people, and uhh some people I should never even be forced to stand next too, let alone socialize with!!! It got a tad better when the booze came, not for yours truly because as you all know I can't drink, but the people around me got a little more festive. I am always put in these positions at parties where I am sober and everyone is drunk so I get to see everyone make an ass of themselves and sometimes it is fun, but it also makes me think why would anyone drink that much just to look like such an ass? I always am asked "would you drink if you could" and my response is "doubt it" only because I see how these drunks act so I guess that's one advantage of not being able to drink. So, before I left I got to witness Mike being carried to his room because he had too much of the jello shooters and was really out of it, but I got an update today and he was actually up at 11 cleaning, with a major headache. You know what they say is a remedy for a headache, SEX and plenty of it! haha :) Anyone want to take care of mine? Alright that was just corny.

Moving on, since I went out last night and didn't get home til 4:30am I decided tonight I would stay in and get some stuff done. I am pretty much finished reading my book, I have like 100 pages to go. I like this book but she, Tammy Hoag, is not as good as some of the other authors I read. As for doing design goddess' reading, what subject I'll consider it? Luckily I didn't have to go to the game last night, or I would have missed the big bash, but mostly because it would have been a two hour freaking drive. No worries though I get to go next weekend and watch them lose woot(sarcasm!) I was thinking the other day I don't really understand the purpose of High School bands, at least the one at this school, they come and play the national anthem and leave. They magically reappear to play some shitty depressing halftime show and leave again, and never return? Do they not realize that part of it should be supporting their team? Needless to say the band director and I don't get along, because I bring up this point often. His respones, "we have competitions in the morning" BFD pal then don't come to the games at all! So, that is my rant for this evening.

Well, the best grand slam tournament of tennis starts Monday, the US Open in New York I am extremely stoked. Although due to the job I have to tape most of it, but still I love watching it! The atmosphere there is incredible, I can't wait for it to start. The draw was released setting up some great matches down the line. The best part is Venus and Serena are on the same side of the draw and would meet in the 16's, and their side is loaded with Clijsters as well as Sharapova. So, I figured i'd make some predictions and see how well I do.

I hate the NerdHerd!!!

Well I figured Rachel was going to get voted out of the house, b/c she basically was ready to go. I was VERY mad at Ivette's goodbye message to Rachel. What a bitch. I didn't think Rachel did anything wrong in this game. Oh well. Ivette will get hers (I hope). I really wanted the cool side to get HOH this week, but the stupid NerdHerd won again!!

Oh &%$@ it's BUSTO! Halftime Evaluation!

Hello Big Brother fans! We have reached halftime in the big brother house, started with 14 houseguests, down to 7. Tonights episode saw poor rachel bite the dust, saw an incredibly bitter Ivette blast her in her exit tape, nasty whore, and then the incredible happened yes Busto, or April finally won something! She won Head of Household, beating out my favorite Janelle, and possibly sealing the fate of Janelle and Howie. Although April keeps saying they need to get James out, but she'll end up doing whatever Maggot/Maggie tells her to do. Here is how I would play it this week, I would put up Beau and James, that way Ivette plays for the veto and wins it HAS to save her partner Beau, James wins it April puts up Janelle or Howie. Anyway you spin it their side has the votes to vote out whoever, and this might be the last chance to get out James, as I believe everyone will start playing for the Veto the rest of the way. She'll never do that, but we'll see. Alright on to halftime evaluations. It's really funny the first episode I didn't like Janelle I thought she was a dumb blonde, but after like 2 episodes she became, and still is my favorite player in the house. She is a great competitor, doesn't lie, and tells you how it is. Best moment was her catfight with Beau over who is the biggest golddigging whore! James, he will go down as one of the best big brother players in my opinion he played the game so well, and has avoided eviction to everyone's surprise. I think Howie is too weak of a competitor, the rest don't deserve my time but here, April sucks, Beau is a loser, Maggie is too much like midget eric, and Ivette is white trash.

I have been so incredibly busy as of late, that I have not had much time to do my favorite thing, read. Unbelieveably I am still reading my tammy hoag book. I think I am going to attack it this weekend and finish it, and move on to the next one. Okeh so my friends Michael and Kevin invited me to their "back to school party" down in btown, they sent out Evites. I laughed outloud when I got it, who the hell sends these things out, I mean what adults sends these things out? So, I replied with my yes, and now he is asking me online how to make Jello shots , I swear these two would be clueless without me. It should be an interesting night, KJ will be there ha! We haven't talked much since the whole beach incident so we'll see how it goes.

I've got the music in me

Okeh, for those of you who know me you know I love my music, I mean love it, and get this my car radio has bit the dust :( So, I am driving everywhere with no car radio do you know how incredibly weird that is? Granted my car is on its last leg and I am starting to think it's playing a cruel joke on me, but this just might be the last straw, old mandinga might be done. Yes, I name my car and it's named Mandinga. I am one of those people who love to sing and dance in my car and don't care one bit who sees me, and I will even sing to people at stoplights to which my friends say "you're gonna get shot one of these days" pish! and nuts goes as far as putting the child safety lock on so I can't roll my window down NO FUN! So, that is my news, I am thinking it's finally time for a new car, I mean i've had this one since 1995, and I really like it. I love music though, I love dancing to it, listening to it, singing it so that makes this even worse. As for music, everyone always asks the generic question what is your favorite type of music. I usually say Country because I listen to that almost 90% of the time, but I guess I like "pop" too but I call it popular music. If you're ever in Indianapolis you have to listen to 93.1 Radio Now in the mornings for their prank calls, they have the best pranks ever! I am still laughing my ass off over the hooters prank, classic! So onto more things now. By the way if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this car radio drop me a comment?

I have decided to give up on love all together, because LOVE BITES! Yes, it's true, so I am going to put all my focus on my friends and screw looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with forgetaboutit! Some things have happened recently and I am really pissed off about them and everyone wants me to talk about it and I am like no thanks ding! I love my friends they are great, but this is something i'd rather not think about anymore as the great rascal flatts song says "I'm moving on" So I hate to break the bad news to all the lovely ladies out there, but I am not looking for love anymore! I QUIT! How ironic that as I write this I am listening to Rob Thomas' "lonely no more" should be my anthem. I guess I could go to a daycare and look for my next date like my friend Jenn did, think that's a good idea?

It's so cool to be hooked up with some new blogger friends, Bruno and Aussie, and of course the long standing favorite on our blog Design Goddess you guys all rock, thanks for stopping by we will try to at least make these interesting every once and awhile. This is so corny but I get so excited when we have new comments! haha! So please keep commenting. On to big brother wow getting down to the end, it sucks that it's almost over, but the good news survivor and amazing race and the rest of fall TV will be starting up. I am a tv junkie I admit it. Cara and I will be posting a halftime evaluation of big brother on thurs night. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love sports, I sacrifice my family events if Purdue football is on, but what the hell are they doing pre-empting big brother sat for a PRE SEASON NFL game stupid people. Oh well GO HORSE!

Tennis practice is going really well, I think our girls team is going to be pretty good even without our stud player. Our best girl is going to be playing in the boys line up this year, this girl is freaking awesome and a 7th grader. I am thrilled I get to coach her, I think by the time she graduates she'll be the best this county has ever seen. I only have 7 boys that is another reason she will be on the boys team, and two of the boys have never played before. This level is so hard to coach because you have so many levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced, but I have great helpers. The other day we were conditioning and this girl fell did a backward roll got up and fell again, and me being the mature adult I am had to turn away because I was laughing. I am such a jackass. Our first match is Sept 1st, hopefully our tshirts will be in by then! I will post more on this as the season goes I am sure.

No big plans tonight I have the night TOTALLY off woot! No practice nothing, so I will watch battle of the reality network stars, so so good, and relax. Also that Kathy Griffen show on Bravo is really funny and so I will watch that tonight too. Everyone have a great hump day!

Bleh I don't want to be at work today. Not motivated AT ALL to do any work. Then plus my buddy list sucks at the moment with no one on to talk to.

So Big Brother was pretty good last night even though I knew what happened. I think I'm going to delete the feed link out of my favorite places b/c it isn't as good if you know what happens. But am I strong enough to delete it out of my favorite places???? Ivette does crack me up in the diary room. I was chuckling when she was making fun of Rachel and her "horse" face!! ha ha. Well I can't wait till Thursday night to see who gets voted off!!

Oh yeah, Jimmy called me last night. He called me, I was still strong to not call him. But yeah I gave in and let him come over. And while he was over Mike M. called and I couldn't take the call =( I need to hurry up and get on the ball with Mike M. and stuff...and maybe he can be my date to Nicole's wedding. I have to send my response by 9/12, so I have a little time left!! LoL

ooooo OUCH ooooo

Okay kids, if you go to the State Fair on a sunny 90 degree day, wear sun screen!!! My arms are soooooooooooooooo burnt, I still can feel the heat radiating on my arm!! It was sooo hot yesterday at the fair (this was my second time at the State Fair this year!!!). Deb & I were only there for like 3 hours before we left. The highlight of the event was the amount of balls we seen!! To escape from the scorching heat, we decided to go to the Swine Barn and check out the pigs. Okay, I have never seen balls on pigs before!! It was soooo gross!! I almost had to walk out. Then we go to the sheep area and OMG sheep have them too!!! Wait to you see the picture of the sheep balls I got. One set was even furry!!!

So my weekend was pretty good. Saturday I went to K-town to visit the fam and have dinner with phats. My rents ended up coming along also, so I had to warn phats what he couldn't and could say! He did pretty good =) Then we drove around Kokomo and got some great shots of the town just as a guide if anyone decides to visit sometime.

Sunday I got up and went to church with the rents and then drove back down to Indy to meet Deb at her house and we headed off to the fair. I got home around 4 or and ended up crashing on the couch around 6pm and somehow I made it into my bed.

So Mike M called me again on Sunday evening. He is really nice...just don't know what kind of a relationship he wants, and I'm too chicken to ask!! LoL Oh well. I think I might call and see if he wants to come over and watch a movie tonight.

Better get back to work since I haven't done much this afternoon!!

Weekend Update

Hello all!
Well, I had a great weekend so it's time to write about it even though it's not technically over. So, nuts my coauthor was in town so of course we were hitting HACIENDA!!! DUH! It was mm mm good, her mom and jake joined us, and I was told what I could and could not say haha I think I was a good boy too? Dinner was great, I love hacienda if you're ever in Kokomo it's a MUST to eat there it's on Plate Street right across from the car dealership. Alright after dinner we drove around taking pictures of Kokomo landmarks, I am not kidding. We got a picture of old ben, the hip hugger, the Kokomo police dept, the fire dept(for you design goddess!) the top banana, what am I leaving out here nuts?? We tried to save them on my computer but they didn't save cara, I will see if I can right click on them when you post them or just put the link in the blog. The best part was, we were turning on a red and there was this big pothole and Cara(was driving) swerved to miss the pothole right into the lady that had the greenlight's lane and she gave cara the pissiest look I have ever seen and it probably didn't help that I was laughing! Lets see driving by Memorial Gym we saw a car decorated Cara honked and started off a chain reaction of honks classic, and finally on the way back to my house we passed the car wash where a guy was drying his car and cara said mmm ya! So I yelled out the window "hey can she get your number" he didn't look to thrilled haha. I think he thought I was a retard. So, we got back to my house and played roller coaster tycoon, seriously I am not kidding, until big brother came on then we watched it. Let me start off by saying I love janelle she rocks! The look on Maggie's face when she used the veto on her priceless and then said "I choose to evict, I mean nominate Ivette" was great! So Jenn got evicted, she was a bitch and truly deserved it, and stupid beau won Head Of Household what a waste! So this week won't be as much fun :( Look for our halftime evaluations coming up soon! By the way if any of you reading this know what the hip hugger is without explanation SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! WOW, I almost forgot a really important thing. For those of you who read my top ten for Kokomo well i talked about the water tower going down, guess who was lined up on the streets to watch it go?? Yes, that's right my coauthor NUTS!!!!! I busted a gut when she told me that one.

Alright so a funny story on yours truly, I had gone to get my haircut yesterday morning, and when I got back I had pulled into the driveway and had my shania twain greatest hits cd blaringon the song "party for two" and I was dancing and jamming and had no clue that some old couple had pulled into the driveway to turn around and were watching me, oops! I just laughed and waved. Good thing I don't get embarrassed eh? My friend Jenn(AKA Dirty POP) also called me yesterday, she is still dating Ryan, I know I can't believe it either. Anywho she was telling me that they were test driving cars, and when the guy at the ford place asked for ryan's name he said "dutch" why I am not sure, and so he had to give his license when he went for the drive. Well, they got back and the guy was like so how old are you, and he said 23, and the guy was like your license says you're 20. Uhhh BUSTED! Jenn said she had to turn around because she was laughing and that Ryan made some lameass excuse like it wasn't his license haha I would have been busting a gut. I hope she doesn't mind me sharing that story. Hey did you know it's the 30th anniversary of one of the greatest movies of all time, and the movie that coined the phrase "blockbuster" Yes I am talking about JAWS! What a great movie, if you haven't seen it, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! So happy anniversary to Jaws, keeps on scaring us 30 yrs later.

Hurricane Howie!!

What a great freaking night tonight, and yes it's because of a television show. I admit it I am obsessed with Big Brother! It was so good tonight, when Howie let April have it I was literally laughing my ass off, "you have your fat husband, and ugly dog" still laughing. Also, how often do you get to see a gay male, and straight female fighting over who is the bigger gold digging whore I mean classic right? The best part though came at the end of the night when Janelle won Head of Household, and Jenn threw the key at her how mature! So, the little guy gets a little revenge tonight as Mags, and Jenn are nominated, and hopefully Rachel or Howie will win the next HOH and keep the momentum on the good side. I still see Janelle making it to at least the final 2 if not winning the whole thing, and oddly enough I still think there is some secret alliance with her and Ivette. I guess we will see right? Nuts and I are going to do our halftime evaluation when they are down to 7 houseguests so that will be coming soon!! :)

So tennis season has started, I have good numbers out 21, mostly girls, only 7 guys which is barely enough to field a team. It's going to be a long season lets put it that way. It's been so blasted hot too that practices haven't been the greatest, and yes I am doing this by myself this year. Why you might ask because my good friend and tennis doubles partner Nikki bailed on me! She does this all the time and quite frankly it pisses me off, she says oh I can't wait to help then can't commit. She wants to be a coach so bad but she doesn't realize she is going to have to give up some things in order to become one. First match is 9.1 let ya know how we did after.

Well, I am off to bed! Can't wait until saturday when one of the "bitches" as Janelle calls them is voted off WOOT! Oh yeah, PARTY TIME cara and I are hanging out this weekend DINGAWOOT!

I'm sick =(

I think I'm sick from trotting around the fair Sunday in the rain and flip flops. Monday I woke up with a sore throat, but it dissipated towards the end of the day. Yesterday however, I felt like such crap with a sore throat and achy cough. I slept good last night and was going to go to the doctor this morning, but when I woke up...I seemed to feel a lot better. I'm still stuffy/congested, but at least my sore throat is gone =) I think the reason I'm sick is because I lied and told Jimmy on Monday I didn't want him coming over because I was "sick" ... and now all of a sudden I'm sick!!

Tomorrow after work, I'm heading up to lovely Kokomo to see Phats and of course my family. Hopefully I can catch up on some sleep up there!!

Trying to bite my tongue, oh what the hell.

So, there are some topics I would really like to bite my tongue on but the more I think about them, the more steamed I get. Yes, I am talking about the wonderful world of relatives, this one is gonna be a rant so if you don't want to hear it stop reading now. So, my Uncle Mark, and Aunt Teresa are the favorites in this family with my 80 yr old plus grandma, which is no surprise he is her baby, but I swear to God if I have to hear one more "how great mark" is story I am going to barf. Anywho, his birthday was the other day, no our family was not invited to the festivities, and I don't care because I would not have wanted to go, since they pretty much forgot my birthday all together, and got my sister a card no hard feelings though ;) Well, after the dinner and party my grandma called here to let us know how wonderful mark and teresa are, and I find it so funny that they are the ones that basically tried everything to turn their backs on her when she fell and broke her pelvis. That's another issue that I am not going to get into, I am not one for big family get togethers lets put it that way. My aunt Jan was the only smart one, she moved FAR away.

I swear it's been raining here for like 6 days straight, but the heat broke today it's only in the 70's right now WOOT! Nuts, the coauthor, is coming to visit this weekend, watch out KOKOMO we are on the loose. Sex shops here we come! I am in search of 2 blow up dolls, anyone knows where I can find them for cheap let me know. I am getting my haircut sat morning, getting it shaved it's too long now. Lets see what other random ramblings can I go on about. I hate flies, and there are two in this house right now, they drive me nuts, but I guess they are better then having bees in the house.

So, here is my take on big brother, I am pissed off at Jennifer. Yes, Kaysar was stupid for giving her the Head of Household, however she swore ON HER LIFE that's serious shit whether or nor you're playing a game. She could have broken a promise, but to swear on one's life is a bad thing. It's going to be an interesting week, I can't wait til Thurs so we can get someone else in power.
Alright I need a nap I stayed up til 3am watching a dumb movie and now I am tired. peace out yo!

Long weekend..

I had an awesome weekend. Just a little tired on this rainy Monday. Such a good day to stay in bed and SLEEP!!

Saturday I had Nicole's bridal shower to go to. It was a pretty nice shower. That evening I took my sister to PF Chang's for her birthday. I LOVE PF CHANGS!! She had sooo much fun. Amber, Deb, and Michelle joined us also to celebrate. Fun times =) Afterwards, Amber & I went and seen that movie Skeleton Key....VERY GOOD!!! Wasn't as scary as was hoped for, but still very good.

Then Sunday I was down in Greenwood by 930am to help Amy and my parents load up the truck to move her back to school =( I'm going to miss her living down here =( Maybe after school she can move back down.

That evening, Deb & I went to the State Fair. We had tickets for the Ulimate Bull Riding show that evening! WE HAD SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN. Cowboys, Cowboys, Cowboys everywhere!!! Towards the end of the show it started raining. Good thing I brought my umbrella!! Even after the show we were walking around the fair in the rain, flip flops and umbrellas buying cotton candy to take home!! Still good time even though it rained.

I got home around 1030pm (past my bedtime on a Sunday)...and I stayed up and watched Big Brother from Saturday night. Pretty good. I think that Jennifer girl is an idiot and I can't believe Kaysar let her win it!!! Damn my future husband.

Oh I talked to Mike a couple times this weekend. One time was like Saturday/Sunday morning at 230am when he was drunk. He was all chatty. He asked if he could come over Sunday night and I told him yes, I guess he was too drunk to remember since he didn't call. Which I'm not heart broken over b/c I needed some sleep last night.

Well better get back to work....comment people comment! This weekend I'm going home to visit phats!! LoL

Taking Design Goddess' Advice!

Starting things off is a thank you to my new blogger buddy, I am taking your advice and running, not walking not jogging but running as fast I can the other way! My only problem is, I hate to run and more then likely will be caught after about 20 secs D'oh! What to do, what to do. So for those of you in the know the big beach trip is going on right now, and KJ was suppose to be breaking up with the significant other, well I don't think that is happening. You might say how do I know this, well I am getting daily emails, and some online chats of like 2 mins tops. Lets just say this is totally different then when they went to DC just a few weeks ago and KJ was an open book telling me everything and how bad things were, now KJ won't discuss what is going on at all. To me that is sign enough so I am opting out. I told my friends Jenn and Cara I am going to become a hermit, and live underground in a geosphere and only let my closest of friends in, but that is contradicting myself because a hermit wouldn't have friends. Just curious you think I can get cable underground? I will be sending out the mass email with my new underground address when I get it.

So, it's full speed ahead for my big plan!! I am actually going to do it, although I prefer not to go into details because I might not go thru with it and then I look like a jackass. Cara knows what I am talking about, we talked about it today. Wish me luck this is a big uptaking if I can make it happen, and would be a great big event in my life DING!

Lets see some random news here, the shuttle landed successfully! Did anyone else watch it, I was so nervous when they were doing the countdown and the news lady kept saying this is the point where they lost columbia, and it seemed like it took forever to hear they were OK. I was so fascincated with this whole story, I really admire those men and women in the space program, they should be looked upon as heros, as they are risking their lives each time they go up. They landed at Edwards Air Force Base in CA because of storms in Florida, and it delayed them getting to see their family for a day, but I think the family will take it as long as their loved ones returned safe.

I am wondering if possibly my coauthor and mike are trying to rekindle the love that they once had, yes these two kids are near and dear to me because I set them up! Chuck Woolery eat your heart out. It might have been the funniest thing ever the day after their date, because Mike sent me a msg online and I said so, details? He wouldn't spill any so I forced him to talk and he said "it was fun but she didn't talk at all" now it's a good thing I wasn't drinking anything or it would have been like on television and I would have spit it out all over my computer. I have known Nuts since HS and she isn't a shy one, so that took me by surprise. All I can say is if they ever would get married, probably won't, there will be an interesting story told to Mike before the blessed event! HA HA HA

Alright that's all I have for tonight, oh yeah I FINALLY started a new book today, "a thin dark line" by Tammy Hoag 100 pages in and so far pretty good. It's my first Hoag book, my sister claims I will like them so hope she is write.

OH YEAH!!! one more thing a shout out to design goddess(I don't know your name so I just call you that) added reason 11 to my top ten. The fireman will water your lawn with his truck! Yes, that happened he was watering his OWN damn yard with his own firetruck hose, and it made national news. hello KOKOMO FING ROCKS!

Saving Lives is Cool...

So I've been donating blood for awhile now and I've saved four lives!!! I'm such a good person =) Last night I went to donate blood at the blood center near my place. After the person removed the needle out of my arm, I started to feel a little funny. I immediately got this hot flash (and I'm only 27!), started sweating, and felt light headed/dizzy. "Man I feel light headed" I told the guy and he came and put a cold towel on my head and put a fan right by me. I was sooooo scared since that has NEVER happened to me before. I think the reason why I was scared, not so much the passing out part, but no one being there with me!! LoL.

I normally donate when the blood center comes here to work and a co-worker goes with me. I think a lot of it had to do with I just got done from working out and didn't have anything to eat. But at least I donated, saved another life, and got a goodie bag of free stuff!! So everyone, donate blood!!!

So when I got home after my near-passing out experience, I fixed some dinner and rested on the couch until Big Brother was over. NICE episode last night. I hate James....grrr. And I can't believe they didn't put more their candy pieces in his!!! Oh well, I can't wait till Thursday for the eviction and to see who comes back in the HOUSE!!!!!

My weekend....

So not toooo much to write about. Pretty good weekend overall. Friday I hung out with my friend Jennifer and we did some shopping. I got home probably around 9 or so and then Jimmy came over around 11 and we watched a movie and he fell asleep. LoL. Oh well. Glad nothing happened.

Saturday I was a bum all day until I had to get ready to go to the Indians game with the family. I got to use my new camera and pictures are in my flickr page. The game was okay for minor league I guess. So after we got back from the game, I went to Meijer to look for that Rollercoaster game which they didn't have. I was pretty bummed because I was looking forward to playing that. So I went and got gas at the Meijer gas station. As I was waiting in line the guy behind me was just chatting away with me. So I said good bye after I paid and went to pump gas. As I was standing there, he drove up next to me and said to me "can I have you?" and Cara never gets hit on much and I was like "huh" and he repeated "can I have you?" and I smiled and said "sorry I'm taken" LOL. I mean he was cute and all, but not my type. So I get home and I was lounging on the couch and I was almost asleep when my phone rings and it is Mike M. LoL Well I didn't feel like chatting. So I let it go to voice mail. His message said "Hey Cara it's Mike, call me immediately" LoL yeah right. Well, I still haven't called him. I might call him tonight.

Sunday was the big race! Yep, I didn't go. LoL I hate RACING!! No more races until May!! So I went out (while the race was going on, b/c that is the only time Indy is a ghost town) to Best Buy and got Rollercoaster Tycoon 2!!! I played that, kid you not, almost all day Sunday!! I need help!! LoL.

Anyway, better get to work!! cya

Top Ten Reasons Living in Kokomo ROCKS! *Yes I am being sarcastic*

10.) Thanks to the beach boys people from other states think you are from some exotic locale when you say "Kokomo" only to be disappointed when you follow with "Indiana"

9.) Stoplight Heaven, yes you can go maybe 3 seconds from one stoplight before hitting the next. If you're lucky like I usually am you hit all reds.

8.) I love the nightlife, i love to boogie, D'oh! Forget about that in Kokomo considering you put their clubs together and they then equal the size of one in Indy, so nothing to do for the 20-35 crowd, but drive to Indy. Unless you want to cruise the strip, do they still have that?

7.) Religion, there are more churches then Jesus knows what to do with in Kokomo!

6.) Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name. Yes, it's not as small as Greentown, however people still always seem to know your damn business

5.) Can you say home to the first ever McDiner, yes the McDonalds sit down restaurant. I bought a tshirt that says "I was the first to eat at the McDiner" I am going to auction it off on Ebay.

4.) Where else can you find a hotdog stand where the chef brings them out on his arm?

3.) The mysterious Kokomo Hum, which was featured in USA Today. Yes, the hum that locals put thousands of dollars into investigating and probably turned out to be nothing, come to think of it did we ever hear the results?

2.) Where else in the country do people not only line up for days, but bid and pay crazy prices to buy pieces of a water tower, that was demolished? People, my relatives included, got hotel rooms to have better views of it going down, hello LAME ALERT! My aunt bought a water tower statue. Let me describe this it was a normal water tower, that was butt ugly green with white and red checkered pattern around the top. Enough Said.

1.) Old Ben, Kokomo's most famous resident, yes that's right a stuffed bull in highland park. At least I think it's a bull. It's what everyone wants to see, and has his own postcard!

So count your lucky stars you live somewhere else! :)

Sunny Days...

Nothing much going on, thought I would give a quick update. My security guard friend, Lee, just came and visited me =) He is pretty nice.

Last night I was an actual bum until I got my second wind and decided to clean my room. I even cleaned my "walk-in" closet and at that point, you couldn't put one foot in. So that is all cleaned and organized for awhile now. Goodwill is going to love me.

I'm looking forward to my relaxing weekend. Friday night just hanging out with my friend Jennifer and doing some shopping. Saturday afternoon/evening my parents are coming down and we are all going to the Indians game. Go Indians. So boring. lol I like baseball, but I have to be there...but the Indians are minor league and it is soooo boring. When I lived in St. Louis, we would go to Cardinal games ALL the time and the crowds were a lot of fun. Sunday, I guess Nicole and I are going to lunch...joy o joy. Haven't seen her in over a month. I can't wait till this wedding nonsense is over.

So after numerous attempts to contact Jimmy, I finally got through to him yesterday before I left work. He signed on and I asked why he was mad at me this time. His response was that he was still mad at me for the last time. What a jerk. The one time I'm not available for him, he gets mad and turns it into all my fault. Bleh.

Anyway, gotta get back to work!!

A little late, but my weekend update.....

Wow busy weekend. Friday night I ended up going to the Marion County 4H fair with Danielle, her mom, husband and his friend. We went to see the demolition derby....LOL. It was a lot of fun. Pretty interesting since I have never seen that before. I have never seen so much white trash in one place before. I wish I had a camera.

Saturday couple friends and I went to Olivery Winery down in Bloomington Indiana. Check out their site www.oliverwinery.com Sooo Saturday was the last day for live music in July. We got there around 1:30pm and tasted wine outside on the patio while listening to live music. Then we went on the lovely winery tour (hence this is my third visit to Olivers) and I ended up with six bottles of wine in my basket...LoL.

Once we left Oliver's I knew there was another winery close, soooo we ended up there also. But we had to go down these back roads. I mean we were out in the middle of NO WHERE. The roads were sooo curvy, hilly and major major drop offs!! But of course we had fun. So this winery wasn't as to do as Olivers. Sunday, Amy and I were at Best Buy bright and early at 11:00 am to purchase my laptop that I have been eyeing since last weekend. The un-intelligent employee there informed me that they were still out (out since last weekend) and not aware when more would be in!! So I informed him that he and this store just lost $2,000 and Circuit City will be happy to see me. So down to Greenwood we go to Circuit City...not the laptop I wanted, but different brand and same specs. SO I like it. Also picked up a new digital camera, can't wait to use that.

BUSY BUSY weekend. Thursday I have to go try on my dress for Nicole's wedding for the final fitting. Yesterday was the first time we talked since our counseling appointment via phone. She acted like everything was okay and didn't ask anything about me....just blabbed about her and the wedding, bleh bleh. I can't wait for this to be over.

Well I better get back to work...*sigh* This weather is soooooo hot!!
