Day Over Yet???
Today is my last day at work! No not for good, but just an extended long weekend to add to the Monday holiday. So a whole 5 days off work!!! I haven't had time off work in a VERY long time.....so this will do me some good. But the last couple hours are dragging and dragging and dragging.
See Steph, this is what my mom says to me...nothing about tits or vaginas... but she said:
Mom: I really wish you weren't going to St. Louis this weekend.
Me: Why?
Mom: Because of the gas running out and the prices.
Me: Why?
Mom: Because I don't want you to be stranded on the side of the road somewhere without any gas.
That is what MY mom worries about. LoL. Well I'm still going and if I run out of gas due to a gas station "not having any gas", then I'll just sleep in my car until the gas man comes. There are several gas stations here in Indy and surrounding towns that have "ran" out of gas. So I guess it's due to the hype of the gas prices rising to over $3/gal. I was lucky to get $2.62/gal this morning.
So last night Mike M calls and we talk for awhile. I--me--I ask him to do something tonight. His response "well I'm working up in Noblesville tomorrow I don't know what time I will be home..usually around 7/730." Um okay, just tell me yes or no. So I have to call him tonight when I get done after to work to see about tonight. This irritates me.
Well I'm off to sit here in boredom some more. I'll be back Monday!! Everyone have a great holiday weekend.

What your mom said sounds like something my mom would say! Always worried about what might happen. It amazes me.
Sounds like Mike might not like being asked to do things. He really should have given you a yes or no answer. However, you could have just asked him right then and there "yes or no! Tell me now!" If that doesn't freak him out, then maybe he might be worth pursuing. Otherwise, he's a turd. I, like you, prefer the man to BE a man and ask me out. Now, I'm not looking for the whole "courtship" thing, but a return to the days when men were men and knew how to treat a lady would be nice and refreshing. Is that so wrong?!
