I am not dead, I am just lazy

Hey everyone
Sorry for the lack of posts. I just haven't had any motivation to blog, or anything to blog about. Any suggestions? I know a couple of you asked about how I did in the mixed doubles tournament that I wrote about. We got third, which we were both happy with considering the limited practice time we had going into it. We lost in the semi's 6-4, 7-5 my partner was broken both times and both games we had game points and she hit the ball when they were going out, I was saying NO NO NO and she was hitting hitting hitting, D'oh! It was a lot of fun, and my foot held up so I was happy. Next up is the Mixed Mutts in 2 weeks can't wait.

It seems like summer is flying by faster and faster the older I get. I have 2 more weeks left of my summer job, teaching tennis in the park. I have pretty good kids, it's divided into 2 sessions and I am getting ready to start the second week of session 2. The first session had a ton of kids that thought it would be fun to pelt each other with the ball that was entertaining. I am ready for it to be over though, it's been so hot I come home sweating buckets. The only good thing about summer coming to an end, Purdue football will be here soon! WOOHOO!!

Another good thing about summer is the reality shows that are on, makes tv better since mostly everything else is in reruns. Yes, I watch too much tv, do I look like I care, and no it doesn't make me stupid or an idiot, I am that without watching TV ;) Anyway, Big Brother just started, this is the one reality show I would go on. Living in a house for 3 months doing nothing but scheming, sign me up. Not to mention tons of hot girls. This year it's all about Danielle! I was pissed that Carol got voted out though because she was cute too. She reminded me of an ex I had in high school. I am also watching So you think you can dance, love it. I have a few favorites, not sure yet who is going to win. Of course the world series of pop culture is back as well, and the defending champs went down the other night in round 1! Crazy. I tried the Paula Abdul show but didn't last long and actually fell asleep while watching it. Anyone seen the X-Effect on MTV? That show is just twisted.

Well, I am off everyone have a great rest of the weekend! I am heading to our local fair tomorrow to get some good eats, ahh Deep Fried Oreos mmmmm, hodson's fudge mmmmm, elephant ears mmmmm, and of course Amish Ice Cream.
