Weekend Wrapup
Hello
An update first. My grandma had her second knee replacement surgery on Thursday, and so far so good knock on wood. She has been released from the hospital and is now home. She starts phyiscal therapy tomorrow, she is doing much better. She just had one weird reaction this year, which is good. She is one tough cookie, she is ONLY taking tylenol for pain medicine. I love her to death, and appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
I had a great weekend, Friday I was at the hospital from 3-11pm sitting wth my grandma, we watched tv, talked, and laughed. She kept trying to fix me up with one of her nurses, she was cute but I am attached. Then on Saturday the fun began! Nutz came over and gave me my birthday gift, and here is what she got me.
how cool eh? She totally rocks as a best friend for sure! Then we headed to converse indiana to visit a winery, for a picture go to her blog. It was interesting, so here's the deal after the winery we were heading to Marion to visit Bekah. I said to Nutz, lets just ask the wine lady if there is an easier way to Marion without going back to 22. She gave us an easier way, but when we shot out into Marion we took a left when we should have went right. Yep we were lost haha. It was funny, luckily everything in the free world is in the back of my car, and I had the directions and we eventually found it. We had a fun game night, Bobby G and Miss Kistler were the best for sure! However, the inappropriate jokes made about the cat still makes me laugh. In the end Nutz still rules Dutch Blitz and I was stuck without a green light. Thanks for the great birthday you two!
Alright I am dead tired, started parks department tennis today. Oddly enough praying for rain tomorrow. Oh yeah before I forget incase anyone cares. I talked to my friend Jenn(not the one marrying the dumbass) and she is a nurse and told me what she thinks is wrong with my foot. It's planters fasciitis and it usually goes away by itself. However that is with rest and staying off which isn't an option for me. Jenn gave me some exercises to do, and told me to ice it which I am doing right now

Hey Phats!! I usually pop in here every evening just to check if you might have updated. And tonight, lo and behold...LOL!
I LOVE the Simpsons stash. I know you were in heaven!! Maybe you could make a Simpsons scrapbook page with those stickers!! ha!

Hey phats, long time no bloggy. So yeah, I went to see the new Fantastic 4 flick last night and I thought of you when they showed the Simpsons movie trailer. It does look pretty funny, so we'll see.
Be careful with the plantar fasciitis. Being the sports nut I am, I've seen plenty of athletes get that, and I know it can linger if you don't take care of it right.
The cat is still offended....
just kidding.

My friend had that too and I believe she got an injection in her foot to help. She's also a nurse, so she'd probably know what it was more than I would. (actually I know what it is, but just can't quite recall what the med was in it!)
Glad to hear you had a great birthday...again! Remember this Friday is a VERY important day!!! In fact, should be a national holiday I think! :D

HOLY SHIT! I just bought your birthday gift no less than 3 days ago from Target. Seriously, I have those same things, that is freakin' awesome and...creepy. LOL! I also bought a bag with the Simpson family and some wrapping paper. What can we say, The Simpsons rock.

heat and ice. alternate each for 5 minutes for about 20 minutes, back and forth, heat and ice... then let it rest for a bit. then do it again.
