It's almost here
How freaking excited is everyone that The Simpsons movie will open here in a few months. Totally stoked, now I need a date for the big opening, any takers? The 11th season will be out on DVD in August as well, stoked about that too! The 400th episode was pretty good, I liked it anyway. So, who should I take to see the movie? I thought Burreetoe and I were going but she backed out, so now I need a backup! The second grand slam of the year has started, the French Open on the red clay in Paris. The American men are dropping like flies, Andy Roddick AKA major disappointment has lost again in the first round. You know he is a major prick so I always enjoy watching him lose in Paris. Americans will never do great on the surface until they decide to put the time in and play the European tournaments leading up to the french. I have entered the suicide pool again. For those of you who have no clue what that is, basically you pick a winner each day and you can't pick the same person twice. Your player loses you're out, or if you run out of players you're out. I am still alive in both the mens and womens, but Ginerpi is a set all when it was called due to darkness, I knew I shouldn't have taken him! My picks to win
Federer over Nadal in a slight upset
Henin over Kutznetsova the womens draw is top heavy.

Federer over Nadal? Both are actually vulnerable this year. Nadal with his injury and all, and Federer's waning confidence - especially on the crushed red brick of Paris.
A guy like Baghdatis or Roberdo is pretty dangerous too.
Looks for a tough clay courter to win it this year.

Its not that I've backed out.. but you know, that whole engaged thing. It would make me look like a tramp if I went. I really do want to go see it though.

The French Open is fun, but I'm the only person in my family who loves to sit down and watch tennis! I force Gary sometimes and he just moans! I try and tell him that it can really get exciting!
McKenna will be in Paris in the morning! She is flying out in just a bit!

david - Ha, yeah Serena isn't there is she? She's the only female tennis player I've ever seen who actually could be described that way.
anywho... I enjoy tennis, but I rarely watch it. Hmm, and the Simpsons movie. I don't know. It'll probably be good, but I'm guessing it would have been better if they would have made it years ago when Conan and others were still writing for the show. It's just not as funny as it used to be unfortunately. You'll have to let me know how it is.
I lost touch with the Simpsons a while back. I lived in a town similar to the show's setting--visitors actually said it reminded them of the Simpsons. Is that a compliment?
Cheryl- It's a date just don't tell Gary or Kristen! haha. Also tennis is great to watch!
David- You're right Justine is not that chesty, but Serena sure is. HA I think you know I meant all the top players are in the top half.
Duck- I thought the simpsons had 3 yrs where they were down, but this season and last were both pretty damn good. But I will let you know how it is. AND serena is in the top half!

It is tough to enjoy tennis since there are not any Americans that are any good.
