Need a laugh

UPDATE: PURDUE IS A #3 Seed in the Southwest region for the big dance!! Everyone has been emailed their regions who are participating in the bracket challenge, if you didn't get it please let me know? Still not too late to be in the challenge just let me know you want in. BOILER UP!

You have to watch this clip, while some of you might not find it funny or even entertaining this clips literally makes me almost cry with laughter. I first saw this on The Soup with Joel McHale as it was the kickass clip of the week, and after watching it I went in search to find the whole clip and BINGO I found it. I am not going to lie I find drunk people funny, and I kind of want to hang out with this lady. How in the hell the cop doesn't completely lose it is beyond me, as halfway through you can hear him laugh a little. Classic give it a watch.



So, I needed a laugh so because right now my Boilers are in a funk and it SUCKS. I hate losing, and losing that game to Iowa was bad because they suck, but losing tonight to Michigan State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament REALLY sucked. It was a tough game we just could never get going, and I am not going to lie the refs didn't help. I am not usually one to blame officiating but I believe Michigan State only took 6 field goals, and 2 of those came in the last seconds, in the 2nd half yet where able to stretch a lead. How you might ask by going to the free throw line over and over and over. It sucks before the Iowa game we were a solid 2 seed, now were are in danger of dropping to a 4. I think we'll end up a 3, Penn State did us a favor tonight and beat Wisconsin a team we are competing with for a 3 seed in the big dance. We might not end up in Chicago for the first two rounds either. I am assuming the selection committee will drop us, because they have never been kind to us. 2 years ago we win the Big Ten Tournament played great in our last 10 games, and only got a 5 seed. Last year they killed us when we lost Hummel and dropped us from a potential 1 seed to a 4. So we shall see but history certainly isn't on our side. They say conference tournaments don't mean as much for teams already in lets hope. Still after all is said and done I am still a PROUD Boilermaker!! Boiler Up!

Other things going on, I have been reading a lot lately which I enjoy especially when I have the time. I have been reading a lot of James Patterson books and I am currently reading Swimsuit. I am about 150 pages in and it's pretty good so far. I like Patterson a lot because he does a good job keeping you in suspense, and the chapters are short so easier to fly through the book. I just finished the third book in his Michael Bennett series I really like that series. I ordered the latest one from Books-A-Million and can't wait to get started after I finish Swimsuit.

I had my tennis call out meeting for the girls team I coach today, and HOLY SMOKES I had 36 girls come out. I am hoping come Monday some of them change their minds or I am going to have to cut. I am not a fan of that option it's always hard to cut but especially in HS. I don't want a kid to quit the game and give up just because we have an incredibly deep team and I don't have room to keep them. Here is my major problem we only have 5 courts to practice so that makes it almost impossible to get anything done. I find it comical that they eliminated my assistant coach saying I didn't need one, thank god she stayed on as a volunteer. I have 8 Seniors but none of them will get cut because 7 of them will all be competiting for varsity and the one left over is an exchange student, and I have 15 Freshmen but I don't really want to cut them because they are the future. UGH not sure what to do, the first week we are going to run them to DEATH and hope some of them drop.

I have a lot of people signed up for my March Madness Bracket Contest, thank you all my blog friends for agreeing to do it, I am actually still working on a few more might be a record turn out!!
