Bring on Fat Charlie!

First off just finished watching Oregon State SHOCK Southern Cal tonight wow, maybe Penn State is really really good! What a BIG upset by the Beavers!
Welcome to week four of Purdue football. Last time out was a close one but as I always say I don't care if win 2-0 a win is a win. Next up is our hated rival the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. I am sure I have mentioned I hate Notre Dame, I don't just hate them I REALLY hate them. It goes back to Lou Holtz purposely running the score up on us year after year. This year's version of the No Fight In them Irish, has recently been in the media for cheating, yes the patriots apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Fat Charlie had one of his coach's in the press box with a computer against Michigan State. Real classy Notre Dame, real classy. This is not a very good ND team, they barely beat San Diego State who lost to Cal Poly, however we ALWAYS struggle in South Bend, and I believe it will be a dogfight once again, on to the picks.

This week's guest picker is none other than Mr Cornhusker himself Travis. If you haven't check out his blog linked to the right. He writes some good stuff and gave me some good picks. Yours truly will try to bounce back from my worst picking in quite some time this week with some big games on the schedule. The highly overrated Texas Tech Red Raiders(Travis agreed with me) and Boise State are off this weekend.

Phats- I wouldn't want to be the Vols in this one, you know Auburn is still pissed after last week. I am thinking this is Fulmers last year with the Vols.

Phats- I just don't see an upset here, Wisconsin and PSU are the two best teams right now in the Big Ten, and State will flex their muscles and squeeze the Juice all day long.

Phats- Don't get mad Cheryl and Gary but I just don't see an upset here. I am still not sure how good Bama really is? Saban never could coach the big games in the Big Ten, and I see that trend continuing not only will the Dawgs win but they will win big sending a message to the voters. For the record I hope I am wrong

Phats- I keep kidding Travis about when the Huskers are actually going to play someone that changes Saturday. The Hokies have a great tradition and won't be intimidated by the sea of red in Lincoln. This will be a good game, but the Huskers come out on top

Phats- If this were at Ross Ade i'd say we'd win by at least 2 TD's but we don't play well in South Bend. We finally did win up there in 04 to break a 2o yr drought. My prediciton is this will be the game our offense finally breaks out, especially against a weak defense in ND. Our defense will continue to play well and throw that pussy boy Clausen all over the place. Boilers pull away in the 4th for the win, and send Fat Charlie home to a cheeseburger
