WE ARE............. PURDUE!!!

It's Friday so that means, another Purdue preview! Oh stop it I know you're all excited but you're just going to have to wait to make your predictions. So when we left off Purdue was taking on the gophers, and unfortunately we lost in OT, when our defense couldn't hold late in the game again D'oh! This is a bigger game for us this week though it's Notre Dame, the fightin' irish. This is our rivalry game, a must win for bragging rights, and happily we have won 2 straight in this series. I am hoping the luck of the irish will run out tomorrow, as they have had a nice season so far. Both teams come into the game with an unexpected loss, but that should just motivate each team more. Also I will get to meet Gareth's twin as the little leprechaun(troll) for ND will be in attendance.

So, lets break down the game shall we? First I must admit I hate Notre Dame so this will probably be very biased. ND comes to West Lafayette with a new coach Charlie Weis, AKA Fat Charlie, and he seems to have energized the Irish faithful, and has them playing good ball. I see this as being a high scoring game, and with the late kick off time 6:45pm(Indiana time) helping Purdue. With that being kickoff time expect Ross Ade to be rockin' and rollin' and expect a lot of drunk students as they will have all day to tailgate. For Notre Dame to win they are going to have to put the ball in the air and unfortunately for the Boilers they have a QB who can do that in Brady Quinn. Last year Quinn had HUGE stats but lost the most important one, the scoreboard as Purdue routed the Irish in South Bend 41-16. Most of us Boiler fans are waiting to see Purdue break out and be the team they can be, and I for one am hoping that tomorrow is the day. I would like nothing more then to see us run up the score on ND, that is horrible sportsmanship but if any team deserves it, it's Notre Dame. Kirsch is going to have to have a better game then last week, and our receivers hopefully have learned to hold onto the ball! If our offense gets rolling, and that's a big if, we will win this game. If our defense is forced to defend the pass all day it could be a nailbiter. As usual my prediction will be at the bottom, I encourage you all to make predictions as well on the comments page. Except for you Future you wouldn't know good football if it bit you in the ass! haha

The big news for tomorrow, Kristen and I are going to the game together DING! I am not calling this a date though, we always hang out together and this is really nothing new, but just getting to be with her will be fun. Neither of us are drinkers so I doubt will do too much tailgating, but we'll probably go early enough to talk to Coach Elvis and the team. Afterall Kris and I are his favorites ha! Boy probably a good thing he doesn't read this.

It's starting to get cold here in Indiana, last night it got down to 39 and there was a frost advisory. I hate cold weather bleh, however the weatherman says by Tuesday it will be back up to 90, wacky Indiana weather I tell ya. The first snow can't be too far away with October pretty much here. Although I drank hot chocolate last night soo soo good, only good thing about winter weather. It's hard to believe that Christmas will be here in like 2 months CRAZY!

Good news! I just received word that my grandma's check up went great, and she will not need surgery the doctor told her to take child's asprin! She really likes this doctor and is very happy with this news. Again thank you all for your thoughts and prayers it is so awesome, i'll say it again you all rock! My grandma thanks you too as well :)

Ho hum I am still getting picked on, on blog I thought my week was done DAMN IT! DAMN YOU BLOGGERS!!! Although I have met some new buddies, IE batty, shannon, and of course SuperFly SpyGal. Spygal and I have cybersex sessions on IM all the time, hopefully they will never be displayed on her site. haha.

Purdue prediction: Boy this is hard, it's going to be a good game, a close game and I can't pick against my boilers, especially against ND. A great state Joe Tiller is 14-2 after suffering a road loss, bodes well for us! Their fans are so arrogant too so beating them is fun. Alright here goes
