Just don't care anymore
I just don't care anymore what my Boilers do, we were dealt a bad hand with injuries and what not this year, and sometimes you just can't overcome things. Yesterday's loss was UGLY, losing to Michigan State 21-7 and at one point in time only had like 66 yards of total offense. Now we get Iowa who just upset #3 Penn State, GREAT!! I will be happy with getting the bucket back, and sending Tiller out with one last win. I am ready for college basketball now, I don't care who plays in the National Title game in football, nor do I care who gets snubbed(Boise State).
At least I won something this week though as I topped Cheryl(she beat me last year, I guess next season is the rubber match) in guest picking.
Cheryl = 7-7
Phats = 8-6 (Overall 88-43)

Ouch. Be careful how much you ditch your team ... or you'll be vulnerable to accusations that you're a fair-weather fan (ignoring basketball until your team is good and turning away from your traditional sport when times are tough)!
I know how it is--in the mid-90s, when Duke was down in basketball, we all had to be careful not to turn our heads ...
