Holy Shitballs we WON!!!!

Hook and Ladder, Hook and Lateral, it doesn't really matter how you say it's the play that gave my beloved Boilermakers the victory Saturday over Michigan. In just an incredible game to watch, sure both teams suck, but it was still a fun game Purdue defeated Michigan 48-42. It was a wild fun game to witness, we fell behind by 14 points twice, and both times came back. We went up 35-28 only see Michigan get a great kickoff return and march down and tie it. Then Tiller reached into his old bag of tricks and on a 4th and 8 from OUR OWN 32 called a fake punt that went for 62 yards, we then scored. After 2 very costly 4th down penalties, one was a good call, one wasn't, Michigan tied it at 42 with 1 min remaining. Just remember one minute, we're playing a redshirt Freshman quarterback that has only had 1 week to practice the position. Tiller does it again and calls the hook and lateral that goes for a TD, and the rest as they say is history. BOILERS WIN!! Our losing streak is snapped, and although on life support we could still make a bowl even if it is doubtful. All I can say is, it was a fun day at Ross Ade Stadium! Observations
I am eating crow, a HUGE win for Jef and Fuzz's Texas Tech Red Raiders. That was one hell of an entertaining game Saturday, I enjoyed watching. Still don't think the defense in the big 12 is good enough but we'll see.

That being said how about Texas 4 straight weeks of games with national title implications that has to be tough on a team, now Tech will experience that, and you heard it here first, Texas Tech will lose their next two games to both Oklahoma teams. Sorry just how I feel.

Oh how I am looking forward to an Alabama/Florida SEC title game. Florida might be playing better than anyone right now after they killed Georgia Saturday. Them and Oklahoma could both still end up in the title game and I think they are both easily the best 1 loss teams. If I were Alabama I wouldn't want to play Florida.

Texas Tech should not have jumped an idle Penn State team, like they did in one poll. had they been top 4 going into that game sure I can see it, but not where they were ranked.

Some of you criticized me for leaving out Utah in my top ten last week, the Utes are easily the most overrated team in the country. They barely beat New Mexico come on!

The Michigan cheerleaders SUCK! Just an opinion.

Our basketball team opened exhibition play with a resounding 94-62 win over D II ranked Florida Southern. It's just exhibition but we're going to be good, our new Freshman Lewis Jackson will easily become a Mackey favorite. I don't think there is a team in the country that matches are intensity and hustle. As for Florida Southern it was nice seeing former Boilermaker Linc Darner back in Mackey! He played with our head coach Matt Painter.

Alright now my top ten
1- Alabama- I don't see them having any obstacles til Florida in the SEC Title. Unfortunately for Cheryl, Gary, and Booya I see them getting eaten by the Gators.
2- Penn State- Didn't play you shouldn't jumped when you are idle.
3- Texas Tech- Like I said they proved me wrong, can they keep winning big games or do they see the same fate Texas saw. Tech is not used to having to play such high stakes games they will lose the next two
3- Florida- Yep I put them here with Tech, I bet they are wishing they had that Ole Miss game back
5- Oklahoma- They looked damn good last night in beating Nebraska like a drum.
6- Boise State- Broncos will be a BCS team
7- Oklahoma State- Next up Texas Tech
8- USC- I can't believe Southern Cal is back in the national title hunt.
9- Texas- Easy living now that the meat of their schedule is behind them
10- Ohio State- Buckeyes only 2 losses were to top ten teams.

Nothing else going on, I can't believe it's November. Did everyone remember to fall back? ha! We here in Indiana never used to observe DST, I still haven't decided if I like it or not. I like it in the fall when I get the extra hour of sleep, hate it in the spring. Bekah did you remember?
