I love summer

Summer is definitely here, at least by the temperatures here in good old Indiana lately. I would like to clear up this misconception that I have the entire summer off. While that would be nice I really have 3 weeks off 1 in the beginning of June and 2 at the beginning of August. Yes, I work all summer, as I am employed by the city to teach tennis for the parks. That requires me to be on my feet from 9am-12pm, and 5-6. It's actually a great gig but when the temperatures get in the 90's it can be hard especially with the small children. In between I spend time at our pool lounging around working on my tan, and flipping off my raft to cool off :) jealous?

I love summer tv too, so you think you can dance has gotten to the top 20 which is the good part, and this year group of dancers seem to be really good, and I have kept with the voice as it is winding down. I will say I have started to get disappointed with that show though, it started out so promising but the talent level has really gone down hill. I am not sure there are more than 3 contestants that would have made it on this year's Idol. My favorite summer show though is Big Brother and it starts soon!! I love that show, I even tried out to be on it once, didn't make it unfortunately. The best part of that show is it's 3 days a week so it fills up a lot of time. Anyone else a Big Brother fan? Royal Pains returns here soon as well, I really dig that show too might be the only non reality show I am watching right now!

I really don't have much to blog about but I thought I better update here :) If you want more updates you can always follow me on twitter, I tend to tweet a lot more than I blog. Oh Yeah before I forget, I want to congratulate one of my best friends, and fellow bloggers, Bekah!! She has taken a new job, and I am so thrilled and excited for her as she starts out on this new journey. I am sure she is nervous and excited all rolled into one, but I have no hesitations in saying that she will succeed at anything she does. I am so happy for her!! She actually is making me get my butt in gear and look into some possibilities. Look forward to our first game night in your new digs!!
