Bring on the fried goodies

Ahh yes the fair starts this week, if I didn't already know it was starting I would have. I went to our local gas station today to get gas and a coke, and was in line behind like 15 carnies good times I tell ya. I have a love/hate relationship with the fair, I love the food, hate the whole seeing people I have gotten quite good at the duck and cover maneuver. When I was in HS i went every night and stayed til as late as my folks would allow me too, but now I think i'll pass. The only reason to go is the food, and our fair has some of the best bar none. From the chicken and noodle dinners, lions club burgers, homemade amish ice cream, apple dumplins, elephant ears, and funnel cakes those are all great but the whole reason I go to fairs is to get my favorite deep fried foods! My favorite is deep fried Reese Cups, but oreos are a close second, not much of a fan of twinkies, and haven't gotten up the nerve to try the deep fried pepsi maybe at our state fair we'll see. However, the food I CRAVE from the fair is simply the best fudge EVER. This booth called Hodsons, OH MY GOD it's so good it literally just melts in your mouth and I could eat it all day long. So the fair starts Monday, if you're in town come on over you can park at our house and walk!! :)

Big Brother has started back up, it's my summer guilty pleasure, this year's twist is a sabatouer is playing among the contestants, so far they have locked the room to the food during a blackout, taped some x's over contestants faces on the memory wall, and who knows what else. I believe on the first eviction show they will reveal who it is, I am still not sure. I think Andrew is too obvious, I thought Matt, but I don't know Kathy has acted funny in competitions. We'll see!!
