Bring on the Suckeyes!

So another Saturday last week another loss for the Boilermakers, but unlike everyone else I am trying to keep patience since this was suppose to happen this year. All over the message boards everyone is calling for Hope to be fired immediately, and while he's done some questionable things nothing to get him fired after season 1. We have a blue chip transfer QB that will be eligible to play next year, lets wait and at least see how he does first under Coach Hope. This game is a gold strike game, yet something else the fans are complaining about, I tell ya college football fans sure can be fickle. This week we take on The Ohio State Buckeyes who are ranked #7 I believe in the latest poll, and people like to call them the most overhyped, overrated team in America, but say what you will they simply win. They do it close, they do it ugly, at times get lucky, but they win and you have to admire that. The game is a noon kick off on the Big Ten Network, GO BOILERS!

Guest picking this week is the ever clever, ever witty Duck. I'd suggest you read his blog but he has stopped blogging, he is on twitter though, but little good that does huh? Anyway onto the picks. My overall record after last week is now 62-24 not too shabby. Duke and Tennessee are both off this week.

Duck- All right people, I'm just gonna lay it out there. Today I'm picking WINNERS. Take these picks to the bank. You won't be sorry. You have my guarantee. I don't know about you guys, but when I see the beautiful orange and brown of the historic Cleveland Brown franchise take the field, I think "those guys are winners", and that's exactly what they're going to be on Sunday. Maybe one of these days Pittsburgh will figure out how to put a winning product on the field, but it won't be this week!

Kent State Golden Flashes(Design Goddess) at Eastern Michigan Eagles
Duck- The classic Kent State/Eastern Michigan grudge match. Kent State's really gonna be fired up for this one since that one guy on the Eagles said that thing before the game that got them really mad. Did you read about that? It was really quite something. Anyway, it's not going to matter because Eastern Michigan is simply too good to lose to the Flashes at home.

Duck- Missouri is handed the win by default as it's shockingly revealed before the game that the entire Oklahoma State team has been declared ineligible for playing in a strip poker tournament hosted by Deion Sanders. Seriously, someone needs to tell "Primetime" to stop interfering with these young men's lives before it's too late.

Phats- This is a big game for both teams, as both teams need to keep winning to keep pace in their division. I am going with Ok State at home.

Texas Tech Red Raiders(Jef and Fuzz) at Nebraska Cornhuskers(Travis)
Duck- Ugh, I didn't realize until just now how lame of a moniker "cornhuskers" is. My prediction: Nebraska players also have the same realization this week and lose due to their extreme shame. Nebraska doesn't put up much of a fight as TTU comes in and raids their cornholes in this one.

Phats- Nebraska seems to be back among the respectable teams in college football, and Tech laid a beat down on K-State last week this will be a good game. Give me the home team, besides they play better defense.

Duck- Wow what a huge game! It really lives up to its billing too, as Oklahoma pulls it out in the fifth overtime. Thrilling!

Phats- This is a big game, and possibly Texas' last obstacle to making the National Title game. Bradford will lead the Sooners to a stunning upset of Texas ending the dream of playing for the title, sorry no hook em horns!

Phats- I chose this game because hopefully after it, it will show what a fraud Notre Dame really is. I am so sick of hearing Lou Holtz(who should be fired!) defend this team and say they are in the Nation's elite. My Boilers are bad and should have beaten them lets not forget!
