Alright I haven't been updating much because I don't have anything to write about then I feel stupid, and you all leave me comments and I feel bad for making you read such boring material and then be forced to actually leave a comment on it. So, bad news I don't really have anything to write about tonight either, and since not many of you like sports I am in big trouble here.

Well, I am almost thru week 2 of my summer employment, and I am still alive! When I took over both programs, because last year I just did the adult tennis class, I never thought it would be this hard. However, add in being on your feet for 4 hrs, in the 90 degree heat and it becomes a little more diffcult. My first class is the 7 yr olds, and they are all pretty good kids, but they just don't listen very well. I say pick up the balls, do not throw them, do not hit them, do not roll them, just pick them up and put them in the hopper. What do they do, hit them, roll them, and throw them, so what did I do. Well, I threatened them that's right I did! I told them if they were not good the rest of the week we would not play the special game I have for them on Thurs. The game is tennisbaseball a game these kids have been begging to play since day 1. So far so good, they are actually putting the balls up like they should. My second class is a lot better the ages range anywhere from 12-16 and they actually listen and pick up so it's not bad. The only problem with them is I have 25 kids when they all show up and no assistant ACK! Good kids though for the most part. My last session is the one that usually drags on, mostly because there are only 3 kids in that session, and there isn't as much you can do with only 3. However we manage. I have to tell you, and I am going to sound like I am complaining here, but Tuesdays. and Thursdays are the worst. After these three classes that go 9-12 I drive home and do private lessons from 12:30-2:30 in the hottest part of the day. I literally thought I was going to pass out today! Finally I do the adult class again from 5-6, that class goes by REALLY fast so that isn't that bad. I will say this I am getting a killer tan, and hopefully sweating off some pounds. Stupidly last night I played doubles after the adult class I was DOG TIRED! However my partner and I won 6-2, 6-2.

I really think that it never fails, I will be running late to work and I will either A.) get behind one very slow truck and have no opportunity to pass, or B.) hit every red light in town which is TONS. Today it took me 15 mins to get from the park to 22 that's insanely long. I stopped by Huck's today on the way to work and bought a jumbo vanilla coke and I kid you not it was gone before I was halfway to Kokomo. I must have been thirsty. I drink way too much coke, but I look at it this way, I don't smoke, I am not allowed to drink so why not enjoy the great refreshing taste of Coke! I always get asked "Phats would you drink if you could" The answer to that is probably, sometimes it's I think it's a good thing I can't drink. I am glad I am spared from a hangover or throwing up all night that is one nice thing.

Does anyone watch Kathy Griffin: my life on the D List? I think she is so funny, she cracked me up tonight. Her brother's kids came for a visit it was hysterical. All you Laguna Beach fans out there, she literally got Talan to comeover and surprise her Niece. Of course she totally made fun of Talan left and right that was funny too. I of course watched Real World Key West, talk about a shitty season they were filming during all 3 of those hurricanes last year, and had to evacuate each time. Tonight the token gay guy on the cast was a real prick to one of the girls, and of course the drama started. I love my television shows, tomorrow is So you think you can dance, and I don't care what steph says, it's all Benji and Donnella. Of course Big Brother starts soon as well.

I don't have any plans for the fourth, except for a family BBQ and playing in a tennis tournament. So all of you who left cool plans in the comments, I am going to crash your parties okeh? It's nice because I can see the town fireworks from my backyard, and they are actually pretty good. That tennis tournament I said i was playing in last weekend is this weekend OOPS! ha! My partner Kristine and I are going to tear it up! I also got roped into the Mens doubles BLAH. We'll see I am not hitting the ball that great right now, so it could be a long day. Wish me luck!

Egan- Cool kat who competes in Triathlon's how crazy is that right? We got into a nice discussion about soccer, and I thought I should at least check his blog out if I was going to tell him soccer was lame :)

PS quick wimbledon update. No major upsets, I am still alive in BOTH suicide pools, and I think Egan made a good pick with Henin, geesh she won 6-0, 6-1 today and looked very good doing it. Although Brad Gilbert picked her and he has yet to pick a correct champ so who knows.
