Everybody Cut Footloose
I have a secret. Promise not to tell? Okay, I LOVE 80's movies. I know...I'm a dork. Friends of mine make fun of me, but come on...they are soooooo good.So tonight I sat down and watched Footloose. What a great movie!!! I haven't watched this movie in years. I remember when I was a little girl watching this movie with my momma. Yeah at the time I didn't know what it was all about, I just liked watching the dancing! I get excited when I see big name stars like Sarah Jessica Parker (one of my favorite actresses) who at the time was a no-name, but now a huge star.
So is anyone else in love with Footloose Kevin Bacon???? He was also hot in Mystic River...yumm.
Well not too much went on this weekend. Went up to Kokomo to visit my family and then hung out with Phats Saturday night and made some fun phone calls...lol
Well off to bed....Oh hey, Mr. Shife...I watched Can't Buy Me Love over the weekend and when I saw Cindy Mancini I thought of you!! LoL I was reading her bio, and she didn't do much after that movie except marry and have kids.

Say Anything, Better Off Dead, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Weird Science, The Breakfast Club, Stand By Me, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Can't Buy Me Love, Dirty Dancing, Fast Times at Ridgmont High. And those are just off the top of my head.
Have I mentioned that I LOVE movies? 80's, 90's, 00's. It don't matter if they're black or white.

YES, they were corny in a way, but much better than some of the stuff that's out there now :)
I was watching Can't Buy Me Love this weekend as well -- I love that movie because here is whats funny -- I had a couple of the outfits Cindy Mancini had - they were all from Express and Limited --- ahhh I was even the fashionista back then.
Footloose has one of the best soundtracks.
Now don't be jealous nutty, but! I actually SAW Kevin Bacon in the flesh a couple years ago. He and his brother have their little band and they came to town for the Pro-Football Hall of Fame festivities. He even SANG Footloose as their encore song.
How awesome is that?!
