Thanks Everyone
Just wanted to blog and say thanks for all the thoughts and positive energy with my grandma's surgery. The surgery went well, she is now in the recovery process, like most post operations she is having her ups and downs. At 82 years old she is being a trooper though! She gets to move to kokomo rehab tomorrow so that is something exciting for her, and then hopefully after 2 weeks will get to go home. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.
Another big update as well, it appears that I will not have to have the "talk" with Jenn about her assmonkey of a boyfriend. I got an email from her stating "I ended it with Ryan" and then she called me that night and quite frankly didn't seem too upset. I am not holding my breath though til I see her face to face. She and he "separated" briefly a few weeks ago, and when I say separate I mean Emily and Richard Gilmore separate. Except instead of one going to the pool house, and one the main house, Ryan took the upstairs, and Jenn the downstairs haha! I hope it's for good this time.
Alright as for me, I am picking Nuttina up Saturday and then it's off to Bloomington to pick up Jenn, then off to Santa Claus Indiana to tackle this bad boy.

Glad you Gran is doing ok...I'm sure she'll be up and around and kicking your butt in no time...if that's the case, make sure you take pics !

Older people are such champs aren't they? I am happy to hear the news about your grandmom, like I said before she has a great support system, which reflects on her own strength...

Maybe now you can actually talk to Jenn about him and not worry about offending her. She might be in a better frame of mind to hear about why he's not right for her.

I am glad your Grandma did good! It is always such a worry the older they are.
Oh man, that rollercoaster looks wicked! I haven't ridden one in years. It used to be fun, but I don't know if I could do it now...I am such a wuss!
I wish we had rollercoastes in the Northwest. I suppose we don't need them with our earthquakes.
...oh, sorry to mention the grandma knee issue. I'm glad things went well. Must be rough to go through a knee operation at her age. I applaud her for doing so.

i am glad that your grandma's surgery went fine .. now who's taking care of her now? how old is she? What kinda surgery was it? lots of love and care and hugs and warm tea would insure a fast recovery :)
