Just blogging to let everyone know I am alive. I am sorry for not getting around to all your blogs as much lately, I am getting ready to read some now. I have been so busy, and so drained I can't even explain it. Thanks Nuttina for checking in on me :) I miss our chats, will be back Monday! I have a schedule of work, go to the hospital to hang with my grandma, practice, eat, and sleep. I am so tired right now I can barely see straight.

Some updates: We're hoping my grandma gets released on Saturday, that is what we are shooting for anyway. Today was hard because my cousin Lisa from Georgia had been here, but had to go back today so it was a hard day for both of them, having to say goodbye. Her therapy is going amazing, she is walking, climbing steps, playing catch and badmitton, making beds, and soon cooking! It's awesome to see. The other side of this is the unfortunate side. People's true colors seem to come out too often when a family member needs help and that has been the case here. My aunt and uncle have for a few years now just been irritating, but it never came to a point where I wanted to say something, well it almost did. I don't want to get into family drama, lets just say my uncle can sometimes be a jackass and he proved his sneakiness recently and irritated the whole family. My aunt well she has been pulling this shit for years, but now he has joined in. Oh well. :) I am going to read some blogs and get some much needed sleep.

Holiday World Fun!

Well, I didn't die on any roller coasters or thrill rides, and I am happy to report that Jenn and Nuttina survived as well. Although we all about died when a guy in a red truck freaked us out, or a guy in a grand am stalked us. After this trip you realize certain things, and I know that I am blessed to have many friends who care about and support me, and I also realized I have two best buds that will always be there for no matter what happens in my life or theirs. I hope they realize I will be there for them as well. Anyway onto the trip report!

So the goal was I would get up, get ready, and head for Nuttina's around 2, but that didn't happen. I get a phone call about noonish and it's Nuttina and she is not happy! Her car went kerplunk, and she was very upset. So this delayed us a couple hours, but it actually worked out even better. That gave Jenn who works midnights more time to sleep. I got to Nuttina's around 6ish, and we dropped the dog off at her friend's Danielle. Oh I almost forgot, I met Roxie! She is so awesome, the cutest dog ever and the best behaved. After dropping the wonderful Roxie off we headed to Bloomington to pick up Jenn. So we called Jenn around Martinsville to let her know we were closer, and she asked if we wanted pizza and we were like sure lets do it. That meant getting to interact with Ryan OH JOY. Nuttina thought he was better, but not me I still think he is a jerkass and wanted nothing more then to ignore him. Thanks for telling me he was coming around the corner Nuttina and here I guarded your purse!! After getting our pizza grub on we left for Santa Claus!

We probably should have sat down and mapped out a route at Jenn's, but we aren't that smart and ya we had Mapquest! I am going to tell you it was the longest car ride I have ever had, and the most fun I have ever had being lost! We went thru every small podunk town imaginable, and Nuttina wants to go back to Orleans for a vacation! We need a blogger to teach Nuttina how to whistle as well HAHA! I have never driven down so many snake curves in my life in the dark, in a forest! We saw a creepy red truck that decided to pull over and park in the middle of nowhere, we saw a grand am that we were following just all of a sudden turn where it didn't appear their was a road, and we saw the "carrie" chruch/cemetary. All in all we got really lost and ended up getting to the hotel at midnight/11pm Santa Claus time. Screw you mapquest! It was hilarious the hotel was waiting on us, wondering where we were haha. When we finally got to our room it was time to open the fun flask, that being Vodka/sprite for Nuttina and Jenn, and straight sprite on the rocks for me. We were all pretty wiped and had to get up early in the morning, but we managed to play a cool card game that Nuttina wants to get. I told her just to steal it because we know Ryan stole her game. Also I think Jenn tried to mount me during the night it was very interesting haha! I still feel like I am on the frank o'bannon highway, passing Hucks, and FRENCH LICKERS!!

We wanted to make sure we were at the park right as the gates were open, and that turned out to be a great plan. I was in heaven because I got my picture taken with Pat Koch! She is the owner at Holiday World and she is in the parking lot every morning greeting the guests, she is a CELEB! We headed straight for The Voyage the new roller coaster that I posted the picture of. So let me break this down for you, Nuttina said I will ride it, and went thru the entire line with Jenn and I, we waited 15 mins tops. We get to where we are next to board the ride and Nuttina says "I am not going!" so I gave her my camera and Jenn and I got a cool picture of us waiting to depart on our voyage. It was an incredible ride, it has what coaster people call "air time" it has the MOST of any roller coaster in the world, and I can see that as I kept coming out of my seat it rocked. We hit up a water ride next the raging rapids, and we all got SOAKED! Nuttina actually rode that yay! Then I was like Nuttina lets go ride the flying eagles, because Jenn doesn't ride that and I was worried Nuttina wasn't having fun because she wasn't riding rides. So, Nuttina is like OK, and then in line she says I want my own bird. So, they had 1 bird left and the ride op was like you can go. I exit and wait to watch Nuttina, and quickly she comes out of the exit, GEESH!! HAHA We did finally get Nuttina on some fun rides though. First was the Liberty Launch, a free fall ride and she giggled like a "NUT!" It was fun, and surprised me a bit. Then we hit the one ride Nuttina wanted to ride the most, yes the Antique Cars. Jenn and I let Nuttina drive us around she is a horrible driver when driving on a guided rail. The best part though was waiting in line Nuttina was waving at all the cars departing, so I said do the truck driver arm, to get them to honk. Of course some played along some thought she was lame, and this one lady started waving and going "HONK HONK HONK HONK!!" It was hilarious! After that we decided it was time to get back on a roller coaster so we tackled the raven, and Nuttina walked thru the line again, Jenn and I were hellbent on getting her on this one, and WE DID!! She sat behind us and screamed her head off, but towards the end she got incredibly quiet which worried jenn and i, but she was a trooper! After a trip on the log ride we hit the third coaster the legend, and Nuttina did it again and rode it! I have to say this, that ride was one rough mother. At one time I was slammed against the seat divider and never could scoot back over, I have a sexy bruise. It was cool though they had a werewolf scream as we were getting ready to fly down the first hill. All in all we had a great day in the amusement park and unbelievable our longest wait was like 20 mins tops. We walked right on both the raven and legend. Next it was time to head to the water park.

The water park was amazing! We started with the lazy river, now that's living! Jenn wants to build one of those in her backyard, if anyone wants to do it, let me know? Somehow I got separated from them and it took me longer to complete it. We hit the big family slide next, and it was hilarious to hear Nuttina scream and giggle, it made Jenn and I laugh even more. We did some other fun slides, and one where we went into a pitch black tube that had faces on the ceiling! We saw some interesting swimsuits, including one buttcheek exposed, and Nuttina even saw someone she knew. Waterparks are always an interesting place to people watch. Jenn and I did a slide together and when we came shooting out they sprayed water in your face, and when I cleared my eyes I couldn't find Jenn. Somehow she got taken underwater haha I was like where the hell did she go?! The best slide though was Zinga, this slide spits you out into a big funnel, and people were standing on a bridge laughing their asses off when we came shooting out because we were all laughing so hard. It was a great day in the park!

We did not get lost on the way home, thank you dad! I called my dad before we left the parking lot, and he gave us the best route home. It was a lot easier then going that's for sure. Well here is the disappointing part, I didn't talk to Jenn about asshat. I know I know you all are disappointed I just couldn't do it. For the record they are back together, and this time she thinks for good, but we were having such a good time I didn't want to ruin it. I dunno if I ever will say anything but I might try again. I told Nuttina on the scrambler I wasn't sure I could do it haha. That is the trip, sorry for the length of the post but a lot happened. So much more actually happened but they were really inside jokes, like paying inside button, headboards banging, kids sleeping in christmas trees, nuttina going for a shirtless guy in orleans, me having a threesome, picking between janet and chrissy, etc etc. Nuttina did you finish off the vodka? Thanks again to jenn and Nutting for such a fun trip. My favorite rides were The Voyage, and Zinga! Oh yeah, the unlimitied FREE soft drinks were AWESOME loved that.

UPDATE: My grandma has been moved to Kokomo and has started rehab, they had to delay it one day because she was bleeding, due to a blood thinner that should not have been given to her. She had a rough couple of days of not knowing where she was, or what she had been thru, but I saw her today and she was 90% better then the last time I saw her. Seeing as the last time I saw her she thought the family was seriously trying to kill her. All she wanted to talk about when I visited today was and I quote "I have a HOT doctor!" haha! She couldn't stop talking about this guy, I said to her too bad he is married. So she hasn't lost her sense of humor. Unfortunately, she is probably going to have to do this again for the other knee. Scary times but it's looking up. Tonight she is staying all night in the rehab by herself for the first time since she had the surgery! Good for her. Thanks again for all thoughts and prayers. I have commented back to all of you on the last post.

Thanks Everyone

Just wanted to blog and say thanks for all the thoughts and positive energy with my grandma's surgery. The surgery went well, she is now in the recovery process, like most post operations she is having her ups and downs. At 82 years old she is being a trooper though! She gets to move to kokomo rehab tomorrow so that is something exciting for her, and then hopefully after 2 weeks will get to go home. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Another big update as well, it appears that I will not have to have the "talk" with Jenn about her assmonkey of a boyfriend. I got an email from her stating "I ended it with Ryan" and then she called me that night and quite frankly didn't seem too upset. I am not holding my breath though til I see her face to face. She and he "separated" briefly a few weeks ago, and when I say separate I mean Emily and Richard Gilmore separate. Except instead of one going to the pool house, and one the main house, Ryan took the upstairs, and Jenn the downstairs haha! I hope it's for good this time.

Alright as for me, I am picking Nuttina up Saturday and then it's off to Bloomington to pick up Jenn, then off to Santa Claus Indiana to tackle this bad boy.

Did the best dancer win? Not so sure about that

Tonight was the finale for So you think you can dance, and it was down to the final four of Travis(should have won), Benji(did win), Heidi(not top 4 material), and Donyelle(my personal favorite). It was yet another 2 hr filler show with tons of group numbers with all the top 20, as well as the top four doing their favorite performances of the season. I was so glad to see Benji/Donyelle do their broadway number that was my favorite, anyone else see her earring fly off during it? Of course the judges had to pick their favorite routines of the season, and then we get the results, but wait some chick had to perform that was obviously lipsyncing, then we get the results. Uhh no, now we have to sit thru Fergie uhh "performing" london bridges. Boy Fergie has come a long way since her Kids Incorporated days huh. I first must say I didn't like the way they chose to reveal the results. Heidi comes out and dances a solo and Cat informs her you did not win, then Donyelle dances her solo and of course she didn't win either because the show still had like 30 mins left, and I was right Cat says sorry you didn't win. So, I held out hope that Travis would win. Let me say I don't dislike Benji, but I liked him least of the bottom 4, too over the top for me. I truly believed Travis was the best dancer and should have won. Although after watching Alison she probably should have won, who knows. It was a good season, now what am I going to watch ACK!? Thank god for Big Brother!

Junior High Tennis started tonight, wasn't looking forward to it, and really still am not. It's probably time to drop that if I am just not into it anymore. 24, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are out this year, and only 3 of those 24 are boys. I have a stud on my team though she is in 8th grade and is unbelieveable, she played on the boys team last year and went 9-2 for the season. This year she will once again play on the boys team. It was interesting last year she made a boy cry after waxing him 8-0(we play 8 game pro sets) I am not sure how I would have taken that either, especially in jr high haha. I can't wait til she is on varsity, she seriously could have started on my team at #1 singles this past season.

My grandma is having her knee replacement surgery tomorrow, so if everyone will send positive energy this way tomorrow around noon it would be appreciated! Naturally she is incredibly nervous, considering she is in her late 80's and frightened to be put to sleep, hell I would be too. I am hoping she comes thru with flying colors! The best part is after this is successful and she does the rehab she will get to have some of her old life back, and not be totally needing someone's help to do stuff 24/7, and I know she really wants to get back to her church.

Alright that's all I got, I promise to post one more entry before the big Holiday World trip this weekend! Sorry Steph, I think Egan is going to be koko he was a little more jazzed to do it. Don't miss the bus Egan it pulls out at 4:45 EST.

Back to work Blues

I am officially back to work tomorrow Yippee, can you tell the fake excitement in my typing? It's not that I don't want to go back to work, it's just that I just started my break! haha. It won't be too bad, I still have the Holiday World trip to look forward too, as well as another trip with my family over Labor Day. More about that when it gets closer. Oh yeah, Purdue football is also only 19 days, 12 hrs, 35 mins, and 28 seconds away, of course this will even change by the time I hit post. Unfortunately I will miss the opener vs Indiana State, should be an easy win. It is going to be a throw back game, honoring the rosebowl champs of the 60's. The team, band, coaches, and cheerleaders will all be wearing old timer uniforms pretty cool.

Well, I went to the wedding Satuday, I went with money for the gift. I was glad I went she gave me a BIG hug when I saw her so I was glad. I sat with my assistant coach and his lady, who he is marrying in Sept, so another wedding for Phats, anyone wanna be my date? As a coach you should never play favorites, but with that being said this girl who got married was and probably will always be my favorite. She was a unique girl, and I was so happy for her. There was some interesting moments, like at the reception. Her mom informed us that Tara(the bride) had the talk with her dad and informed him that she was a virgin and her wedding night would be her first. Umm good for her, but do you think that's something she wants her mom broadcasting at her wedding reception? They are heading out on a cruise for their honeymoon, best of luck to them.

Big Brother was awesome tonight, watching Erika go from HOH(the most powerful position) to nominated was great! Come on people she is just a piece of furniture anyway not doing anything in the game. I love Janelle even more after tonight, she is BADASS in the competitions. I think the new twist, my guess would be "you reap what you sew" Just a stab! Who knows if I am right, or if anyone will guess right in that house. I am in a weird position though because I also like Danielle, and she and Janelle keep going after each other, when in the end if they would just align together they would TEAR through that house. Oh yeah SCREW JAMES! I hope somehow he gets backdoored.

Thank you Steph you're my hero! The song playing on the blog is the BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND! Yes, that's right the Purdue All American Marching band playing Hail Purdue. I expect you all to learn the words because there will be a test at a later date. By the way as corny as this might sound, I still get goosebumps everytime I hear this song. As for the result from Phat Tuesday's it was too hard to pick a winner between the three of you, although not only did Steph help me add that to my blog, but she put the words of the fight song on her tiebreak answers, however I decided to make it a threeway tie. I am going to be contacting all three of you, Cinderella, Steph, and Beading about your prize it will be top secret! I hope you haven't seen my naked dance on youtube though.

I don't really have anything to blog I just wanted to thank Steph for helping me get that to play. Umm I did add a link to the dawgpound, being David he's pretty cool so check him out! I need to add some more people as well, just keep forgetting. If anyone wants added that is not on the list just have to ask is all.

Holiday World trip is on, the date is set, the plans are made. We, Nuttina and I chose to get a room down in Santa Claus rather then stay in Bloomington with Jackass. I think that's the best because I would have been uncomfortable, Nuttina would have been uncomfortable, and just wouldn't have been good. I am going to have a POLITE talk with Jenn about this situation, any ideas on how I should go about doing this? Obviously I am going to keep it polite and not attack her or anything, but I am really nervous she will never talk to me again. I am glad Nuttina will be there for moral support, and we're not going to do it til the end of the trip. I am also going to be sharing my big news with Jenn as well, and I will need support for that too! haha :) Should be an interesting trip can't wait to blog all about it. By the way Jenn has moved from the region and cleaned her apt head to toe and never did find Nuttina's game and now I am sure Ryan(aka assclown, jackass, jerkface) did something to it, don't you think Nuttina?

Hello there kids,
I might not get thru this whole entry either A.) alive, or B) before I lose electricity again! Currently in our area we are under a severe thunderstorm warning and I have lost power 4 times while attempting to write this post! Think that might be a sign? Although it appears it's clearing now but there is another one coming. I love storms they are fun! The good news is my private lesson is cancelled woohoo! The bad news is it's been lightning since around 9 am and I have not had a shower yet haha.

Speaking of Purdue I am getting so jazzed that football season is almost here. Training camps have started, and the excitement just flows. I can't wait for Saturday's at Purdue nothing better then tailgating, then cheering your ass off! To get ready for the season I will be doing some special posts so look for those. Hopefully we can turn it around this year, because I want to go somewhere for the holidays, to do that we need to go to a bowl game haha, it would be nice if it were somewhere warm. It sucks that I will have to miss two home games this year, the opener with ISU, and the Ball State game. Anyone want my tickets? haha. I will just have to get to two away games to make up, probably Northwestern, and maybe Illinois.

I got so sad last night when I realized it was the finale of So you think you can dance. Is it just me or do you really wanna just get up and dance after watching this show? The final four danced last night they had guys dancing with guys, girls dancing with girls, solos, and of course guys dancing wth girls. It was a great show, my favorite number was the group number at the end. I also enjoyed Travis and Donyelle's dance. Here is how I rank them, 1. Travis, 2 Donyelle, 3 Benji, 4 Heidi. It's odd because once Ryan was eliminated I liked everyone left! If you aren't watching this show you should be :) Of course I am still watching big brother, and was stoked when Janelle won the veto and got taken off the chopping block. Unfortunately it appears Kaysar will go home tonight, but you never know what chilltown is going to do. I hope I am wrong I hate James this season. He is a big hypocrite, he is only mad at Janelle because she took out someone he had in his back pocket. I think if Janelle or Howie do not get HOH tonight Janelle is done, because she "supposedly" can't compete for the veto. Can't wait to see what happens!

I played tennis last night and totally pegged this girl with the ball right off her elbow it was awesome! It was during warm up too which made it even better. She took a cheap shot at my partner the last time we played so it was kind of like payback. She was standing taking net shots, and I got a short ball, and was like here we go. It was freakin' awesome I grunted and everything and BOOM right off her elbow I heard it thud! haha. YES! I have to go to a wedding Saturday, any gift ideas? This is a wedding of a girl who played on one of my tennis teams I coached.

Well, the storm has stopped for now! Have a good one everyone. Hmm "I said Burr it's cold in here there must be some Toros in the atmosphere!" haha that was just for Egan, see how nice I am?

10. I have a couple of rugrats, and recently just bought them the cutest puppies ever. I live in South Africa which is really cool! Hello kids,
I don't really have anything particular to write about so I will probably just ramble on and on so bare with me. I am glad it's Friday, but man this week flew by which is odd because I have done absolutely nothing but be lazy strange. It's been so hot here lately the other day a heat index of 115 that's just nuts. I played tennis the other night and felt like I was taking a bath in my sweat it was disgusting. My summer vacation is quickly coming to an end, as work starts back up the 16th woohoo. The only good thing about summer ending COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!! I am going to miss 2 home games this year :( the opener vs Indiana State I will be out of town, and the 2nd game vs Miami OH I will be at my assistant coach's wedding. I am also going to a wedding a week from tomorrow shall I pull out the yellow spandex for that? haha! :)

Lets see tv has been pretty good this summer with Big Brother, and So you think you can dance being on so much. I love Thurs nights because you get Big Brother at 8 and then SYTYCD at 9. I don't understand why everyone flipped out over Janelle's nominations this past week I thought it was good strategy, my only difference would be take out a more dangerous floater. Diane was basically just taking up space, was she even playing the game? However, Diane is VERY good at endurance she won one of the longest ones ever on her season so that might have been a good move she was out before the endurance HOH competition. Here is what I find comical, James is all pissed off at Janelle, well uhh you had HOH and you didn't target Will or Boogie either, you targeted chicken george. Come on James you screwed up just as bad my friend. I can't believe the SYTYCD finale is next week! All my favorites made the final four, being Travis, Heidi, Benji, and Donyelle. It will be a shocker if someone other then Benji wins, and not because he is the best dancer but he has become most popular. I think Travis should win it, and my favorite is Donyelle, but it's pretty much benji's to lose. I had a big crush on Natalie who got kicked off the other night she was HOT! Anyone else a little scared of Mary Murphy, the judge? I have watched America's got talent twice and all I needed to see was David Hasselhoff or Hoff as he wants to be known as now, and knew this show would be lame. How can someone with no talent be fit to judge who has talent? Sorry Shife! So, now I feel like I should tryout Project Runway since both Jay and Steph recommended it, hey I love reality TV so I am sure I will watch it. Does anyone watch the Real World? I wasn't going too but I got sucked in again DOH!

Looks like Phats and Nuttina's excellent adventure will take place Aug 20th. I think we have finally set a date where we can all go. It got a little dicey, and I had to be brutually honest with my best friend which wasn't fun. Basically we told her if her assclown of a boyfriend goes Nuttina and I will not be going. I think it's all worked out that the three of us will go and have a good time. Does anyone wanna puppy sit Roxie for Nuttina for free? haha! :) you can help yourself to anything Nuttina has in her refrigerator. Going back to my friend Jenn, I am really worried about her. She is in a bad relationship that everyone sees is bad but her :( I am worried she is going to marry this joker. I am afraid of saying something because I don't want to her stop talking to me or what not, but as a best friend I kind of feel like it's my obligation to step in. So, at the end of our trip to Santa Claus, I am going to do it with the help of Nuttina! :)

This coming Thurs my grandma is having a knee replacement surgery, and she is very scared so if everyone will keep her in your thoughts it would be appreciated :) We as a family are really excited that she might be back to normal and getting around without pain, so knock on wood! Alright awesome blog buds I am done. Have a PHAT-TASTIC weekend

They Arrived!!!

Well I took a stroll to my mailbox today, opened and to my surprise and enjoyment found my 2006 Purdue Football season tickets! I am stoked, I can't wait, I freakin' love college football season there is absolutely nothing better then game day at Ross Ade Stadium.

Here is a video of the Boilermaker Special I found on youtube. The special is the world's largest college mascot and travels wherever Purdue sports teams go. It has gone to every bowl game, and NCAA tournament game. It's a pretty neat thing if you ask me :) enjoy
